the wife

I know it’s been quiet on the blog front (last entry was literally a month ago, yikes). My dear brothers and sisters, I hope you don’t feel completely abandoned.

Most of my attention and focus has been on making sure this guy is fed, changed and all around a happy camper.

Seems like just yesterday I watched this tiny person emerge from his mommy’s tummy.

Between daddy duties, attending an amazingly fruitful discipleship conference (#Legacy2012) and working on a new album (#CrazyLove&RidiculousFaith #August29th#FreeDownload) it’s been an eventful few months to say the least.

The Lord’s love and grace continues to pour on me and my family. I sat in church this past Sunday with my mom to the left of me and my dad to the right of me.. for the first time ever. #God’sAtWork

Oh and did you know I have started to build a personal mailing list? If you’re interested in joining, just send an email to nofanzone@gmail.com with “JIN MAILING LIST” in the subject line. I’ll be sending weekly emails out to keep everyone in the loop on all the latest and greatest that’s happening.

God bless,

Jin

..mad things rearrange.

A lyric from one of my favorite (and most underrated) MCs, Lauryn Hill.

Quite fitting for what’s going on in my life these days.

For starters, I turn 30 in less than two months (June 4th for you gift purchasers). Around the same time, me and my wife will be anxiously (and nervously) awaiting the arrival of our baby boy.  What are the odds of him making his grand entrance on daddy’s birthday?  I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how the little guy feels. #NaturalLabor Either way, to say it is exciting times would be a major understatement.

As some of you may know, I’ve been spending a majority of the last fours years in Hong Kong with trips back to NY every few months. That working/living arrangement is about to do a 180..

This summer will be a pivotal transitioning time as I make my way back to being based out of NY and making trips out to HK on a periodic basis when duty calls.

In a nutshell, for those of you who ask me ever so often on twitter and in emails.. “Yo Jin! When are you gonna come back to the states?”

Here’s your answer, “This summer.”

Other than the obvious motivation (to be near my wife and child), one of my biggest hopes is to be able to take my newfound direction in music and share it with new and old supporters alike.

One thing is for certain this time around.. Definitely gonna let  God lead the way.
