When the Spirit hits, it hits. I had to reach out to him asap..

I do believe this is a topic that many of us fellas can find common ground on. Just sharing some insight..
Let us all encourage and uplift each other!

Did you know I have an email that you can reach me at?
NoFanZone@gmail.com I couldn’t believe that it was actually available for registry when I did.. Must be a sign from above.
Anyhow, came across this email today and felt compelled to share..
“Please don’t mistake me as a hater because I am a huge fan of your’s, but as you’re a religious man, I wanted to ask you a question regarding religion. I am not a religious man even though my parents are catholic, but one thing I have never understood is why religious people feel the need to constantly try and convert people to be religious? Like for example jehovah’s witnesses.
Non religious people do not go round to peoples houses putting them on the spot and try to get them to change their views on the world, so I don’t see why religious people feel the need to.
I’m not a hater by all means, I mean if you’ve got your own views and it makes you happy, then that’s great, but at the same time, why do people always feel the need to try and convert people to religion? Like if I know someone’s religious, I will respect their views and leave it at that, I wouldn’t try to change their minds and force my beliefs upon them.
I am not saying that all religious people are like this, just from my experience a good 75% of them have been, but you never hear of Atheists knocking on peoples doors to tell them why they shouldn’t be religious and change their views.
I understand that people are very passionate about religion, such as yourself, but what about the people that aren’t religious and are happy with their views? For example, your most recent songs all have messages about god in them, but it doesn’t really relate to me as a person, but you include religion in every track, whereas an atheist doesn’t involve not believing in God in every track or in every tweet.
I am struggling to relate to your most recent music, and it’s only my opinion, by no means am I telling you to change your music as its YOUR music, but I just think at the moment your kind of forcing religion upon some of us fans who have listened to your music before your religion and relate to you from your older tracks.
I guess your religion is a huge part of you and that’s why you include it in your music, but I am a huge fan of basketball, but I don’t talk about it all the time, or when I know someone’s a fan of football for example I won’t try to convert them to basketball or include messages to change my mind, I just respect their opinion.
I hope you’ve seen this message for what it is, just me trying to get some clarity on a couple of thoughts I have, not a hate message, and I hope you get the chance to read this and give me your thoughts/ advice!
Thanks! #nofanzone

Here’s my response:
@ 2:14 – What I mean is that if anyone converts, it will be because of God’s love and grace, not because of my own influence. I do believe that as Christians, we have an obligation and duty to share the gospel with everyone we encounter.
There’s really a lot more that I could elaborate on in regards to his questions and comments.. but that’s the beauty of it all.. we have time to build!
